The Glenview Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the library board. Successful candidates must be residents of Glenview. The selected candidate will serve until May 2025 to complete the term. At the end of the appointed term, they will be eligible to run for the full-term board position in the next election.
Working closely with the Executive Library Director, the Board of Trustees helps the Library fulfill its mission to provide access to the world of information and ideas to its diverse community. The Board oversees fiscal management and governing policies that create a welcoming environment, provide exemplary service, and facilitate community engagement and lifelong learning.
