Studying for AP exams or finals? Come Study at the Glenview Public Library!
We love welcoming teens into the Library and want to make studying as convenient, fun, and positive as we can. That is why we offer a variety of special Study for Finals activities and treats! Encourage your teens to study at the Library.
Why Should Your Teen Study at the Library?
- Therapy Dogs – Teens can hang out with some adorable, stress-relieving dogs.
- Self-Care Activities – They can take a mental break and recharge with calming activities.
- Study Snacks – They can fuel up with tasty treats to keep them going.
- Surprise Treats – Teens never know what may be delivered to them as they study.
- Destressing Breaks – They can take a few minutes to clear their head with some guided relaxation or reenergize with a game of Gaga Ball.
- Mental health materials and fidget toys – GNCY (Glenbrook/Northbrook Coalition of Youth) has generously supplied resources and fidgets for our teens.
Does Your Teen Need a Study Space?
- Book a Study Room: A private study room can be reserved for 2 hours up to a week in advance – students just need their Glenview Library card. (Tip: Remind them to book early, study rooms fill up fast!)
- Extra Space: If your teens need more room to spread out, one of our big meeting rooms will be open each day. Teens can work solo or team up with their study group. If possible, we will offer both a quiet room and a space for group work.
- Group Project: Students should consider meeting in our Innovation Center where they can use markers, paints, rulers, tape, and many other materials for free to get that project done.
