Beginning October 1, 2026, Libby and Kanopy will require both your library card number and a password to access your account. This added security enhancement helps protect your accounts.
Your password is the same one you use to sign in to your library account through the catalog.
If you are already signed in to the Libby app, you may remain logged in after the change. However, you may be prompted to enter your library card number and password when placing a hold, borrowing, or returning an item.
