The Glenview Public Library offers proctoring services for tests and examinations for students and professionals. There is no cost for this service. This service is only available to GPL cardholders.
- Appointments must be made at least one week in advance of the exam.
- Test proctoring is available during the Library’s operating hours, subject to staff availability. Proctoring is typically not available on the evenings and weekends.
- All test takers must contact their respective agency or institution and verify that they accept the Library’s proctoring guidelines, including that Library staff will not stay in the room with the test taker for the exam.
- The Library can provide a private study room and a laptop for online tests that require a computer. A room and laptop request must be arranged ahead of time. We do not allow installation of any additional software on our computers.
- All test takers must present a photo ID the day of the exam.
- The Library can fax or email a completed test to your institution. If it must be mailed you are required to provide a stamped pre-addressed envelope to the institution.
