How to Submit a 3D Print to the Innovation Center:
- Download a 3D model. Typical file formats are .stl, .3mf, and .obj.
- Email that file to innovationdesk@glenviewpl.org.
- Include your library card number, what color you want to print in, and any other details you would like staff to be aware of.
- You will receive an email when you print is ready for pick up at the Circulation Desk.
Resources for 3D Models
- Thingiverse.com is an online database with millions of 3D models available to download for free.
- Printables.com is another online database with even more models available to download for free.
- Tinkercad.com is a free, browser-based 3D modeling software. You can make basic designs in tinkercad and export your design for printing.
