Letter from the Library Director

Big things are happening at the Library this year, and I couldn’t be more excited to share updates about our 2025 space improvement projects! Thanks to your input, we’re working to ensure the Library space reflects how our community learns, works, and connects.

Here’s what’s coming in 2025:

  • A refreshed café and lobby: Starting this summer, we’re creating a more comfortable, welcoming space where you can grab a coffee, enjoy a snack, meet friends, study, or just take a break. The Library lobby will be a place you’ll love to spend time.
  • An amazing new play space for kids: This fall, our Youth Services area will be transformed into a vibrant, interactive space where books and play come together to spark creativity and discovery.

While construction is underway, we’ll do our best to minimize disruptions, though some services may be temporarily affected. Stay informed through eNews, social media, and a dedicated Library Improvement Projects webpage coming soon.

These updates aren’t just about upgrading our building – they’re about investing in a space that belongs to everyone. Whether you’re here to work, play, explore, connect, or relax, we’re creating spaces that reflect our community’s needs and aspirations.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to see how these changes make the Library an even better place for everyone!

Lindsey Dorfman, Library Director
