Now that the cicadas are almost all gone, we can once again enjoy sitting out on the deck or patio (or by the pool, perhaps at the beach) sipping a cold beverage and reading a book. We still have plenty of summer left!
Personally, I enjoy lighter reads this time of year, something easy to put down and pick right back up - and something that whisks me away to the beach or on vacation to a dream destination or to another time period. One of my favorite summer reads is One Italian Summer by Rebecca Searle, a heartwarming story about grief, with a beautiful setting in Positano, Italy.
