Summer Reads

Now that the cicadas are almost all gone, we can once again enjoy sitting out on the deck or patio (or by the pool, perhaps at the beach) sipping a cold beverage and reading a book. We still have plenty of summer left!

Personally, I enjoy lighter reads this time of year, something easy to put down and pick right back up - and something that whisks me away to the beach or on vacation to a dream destination or to another time period. One of my favorite summer reads is One Italian Summer by Rebecca Searle, a heartwarming story about grief, with a beautiful setting in Positano, Italy.
