Teens Studying for Finals? Come Study at the Glenview Public Library!

Finals are stressful — but we’re here to help! We love having teens in the Library and want to make your study week as convenient, fun, and positive as possible. That’s why we’ve put together a week full of study perks, treats, and relaxing activities. Come study with us!

Why Study at the Library?

• Therapy Dogs: Teens can hang out with some adorable, stress-relieving dogs.  
  • Monday, December 15 from 5-7 PM
  • Wednesday, December 17 from 5-7 PM
• Study Snacks: Need fuel for your brain? We’ll have snacks available throughout the week (while supplies last).
• Surprise Treats: You never know what fun surprises might show up while you study!
• Mental health materials and fidget toys: GNCY (Glenbrook/Northbrook Coalition of Youth) has generously supplied resources and fidgets for our teens. Representatives from GNCY will also be available on Monday, December 15 from 5-7 PM.
• Self-Care Activities: Take a quick break and recharge with coloring pages, board and card games, a community puzzle, and more. Your brain will thank you!

Do You Need a Study Space?

• Book a Study Room: A private study room can be reserved for 2 hours up to a week in advance – students just need their Glenview Library card. (Tip: These fill up fast — book early!)
• Extra Space: Need more room to spread out? One of our big meeting rooms will be open each day. You can work solo or team up with your study group. If possible, we will offer both a quiet room and a space for group work. Find which rooms are open here.
• Group project: Consider meeting in our Innovation Center where you can use markers, paints, rulers, tape, and many other materials for free to get that project done.
• Glenview Park Center: Looking for another study space? Glenview Park Center has graciously offered to provide 2 rooms for you to study. All sessions will be in rooms 103 & 104.
