Give Back This MLK Day at GPL

Looking for a meaningful way to start the New Year? Join us at the Glenview Public Library on January 20, from 1-3 PM, for a special MLK Day: Day of Service event! This drop in event is the perfect opportunity to support local organizations and make a difference in our community.

Several amazing organizations will be here with hands-on projects designed to give back. You’ll have the chance to contribute to the efforts of:

  • Stella’s Secret Stash
  • Border Tails Rescue
  • Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook
  • Glenbrook South High School Service Club
  • Northfield Township Food Pantry/ Birthday Bags

Each group will have a table set up with projects and activities, and we invite you to stop by to see how you can help make a positive impact.

The Glenview Public Library is proud to partner with these groups and are thrilled to offer this special event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. We hope it inspires everyone to give back and get involved.

Looking to make a difference year-round? The Library also offers ongoing volunteer opportunities for both teens and adults. To learn more, visit our volunteer page and fill out a volunteer application. There’s always a way to help!
