Earn prizes while reading for fun, discovering something new, and connecting with your neighbors. The Library is the hub for summer fun with prizes for all ages - kids, teens, and adults.

Summer Reading Challenges
KIDS
- Mark one star for each day you read.
- Read for 15 days and 30 days. Visit the Library for a prize!
- Read all 40 days to get a free book and one raffle ticket!
- One log per child for the summer.
NEW this year: complete bonus challenges to earn a bonus raffle ticket. Bring your finished log to the Library was finished.
TEENS
Read 5 books to complete the challenge. Bring your completed log to Youth Services to collect a finishing prize and a raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing. Prizes will be available to teens grade 8-12. Eighth graders can choose to complete either the Youth or the Teen program.
ADULTS
Read 5 books to complete the challenge. Earn a GPL umbrella and a raffle ticket for the grand prize baskets when you finish your first 5 books. You may read more books for more chances to win the grand prize drawings (limit 20 books/4 raffle tickets).
