Kindness Grows

Visit the Library's Kindness Rock Garden this Spring

Happy spring, Glenview! As the weather starts to warm up and flowers start to bud, we invite you to visit our new Kindness Rock Garden.

Last fall, GPL partnered with Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook and volunteer Emi Lewis to install a new Kindness Rock Garden at the Library as part of Emi's mitzvah project. This spring, be sure to visit the Kindness Rock Garden on the north side of the building, take a painted rock, and leave a painted rock on your next visit. Let kindness grow this spring!

Want to earn service credit by painting rocks for the garden? During the month of March, you can paint rocks to donate for the Library’s Kindness Rock Garden. Four rocks equal 1-hour of service. Drop off your Kindness Rocks and receive your volunteer certificate at the end of the month or credit in our online volunteer information center all month long. Find instructions here.
