Glenview Public Library complies with the Americans with Disability Act. Conveniently located on the main floor, one-stop copying for your home, school, or business needs. Black and white copies are $.10 per sheet; color copies are $.50 per sheet. Letter and legal sizes are available.
Vehicle entry to the convenient Drive-Up Window and Book/AV Return Slots is on Prairie Street. Regular materials and holds can be picked up and materials can be dropped off without leaving the comfort of your car. Call the Circulation Department at 847-729-7500 to route your materials or hold item to the Drive-Up Window for pick up. Please allow two hours to process your drive-up requests and present your library card when you arrive to pick up your materials. Library card registration, payment for fines, renewals, and other services are available inside the Library at the Circulation Desk. In the ongoing effort to support library programs and special projects, the Friends of the Glenview Library operate a thriving Used Book Store. Conveniently located in the southwest corner of the Library’s lobby, hundreds of donated books and other media are for sale during regular library hours. Stop by and browse the well-organized collection and enjoy the quiet reading nook. Domated bargain books for every age and interest arrive daily.
Glenview residents who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to an illness or disability may have library materials brought to their home through Homebound Services. A valid Glenview Public Library card and an application are required to begin service. Contact the Outreach Librarian at 847-729-7500 x 2612 for more information.

Residents of the Incorporated Village of Glenview, whether they own or rent property, are eligible for a Glenview Public Library card at no cost, upon presentation of proof of residency and proper identification.
Property owners residing in unincorporated Cook County are considered by law to be non-residents. Non-residents must purchase a library card in order to use the Glenview Public Library.
Businesses located within the Village of Glenview (i.e., that are actually doing business and have a permanent business address within the Village of Glenview) are eligible to apply for and obtain Business Library Cards from the Glenview Public Library, free of charge. Businesses located (whether owning or renting) in the GPL Non-Resident Service Area may purchase Business Library Cards for an annual fee calculated on the same basis as for non-resident taxpayers.

Take advantage of this useful patron service. Drop off magazines and paperback books at the Reader Services Desk in exchange for a complimentary magazine or paperback in the Exchange bins, conveniently located near the Library Lobby. Browse the bins at your leisure and take home your next great read.
Many Library programs require pre-registration. Reservations can be made in person or by phone at the Youth (x7900), Reader (x7600) or Reference Services Desks (x7700). Easy online registration is also available for many programs on the Library calendar.
Over 50 public computers are located on the second floor. Free Wi-Fi, the online catalog, and specialized databases can be easily accessed. Equipped with a host of assistive devices, the ADA Tech Room is also located in this area. Computer Aides are available for technology assistance.

A new vending area in the East Alcove of the Library Lobby now offers bottled water, soft drinks, sport beverages, and hot beverages.
